7 Fingers, 2 Titanium Hips and 1 Hell Of A Good Time
The last 5 years of my life have been dedicated to exploring America's greatest restaurants. I've had a love for fine dining for much longer but I started turning my short business trips into longer restaurant tours. It's become an obsession for me to explore the greatest restaurants in as many cities and states as possible. I've been shooting videos and taking photos of nearly every dish I've eaten during this time too.
550+ Days Eating Restaurant Food For Every Single Meal During The Pandemic
I love eating out at restaurants and I did everything in my power to support them during the pandemic. Mostly in my hometown of Washington, DC I placed 500 large take out orders that I ate for over 1400 meals every day since the pandemic blew up. I also dined in at 275 restaurants. I'm finally traveling again and have traveled to Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey, Virginia and Maryland. I soak in the sights everywhere I go by walking to almost every restaurant. My streak of eating restaurant food for every meal continues to this day.
500+ Fine Dining Restaurant Meals in 2018
I had the most amazing year stuffing my face with the World's greatest food in 2018. It was hard work but so much fun eating over 500 mostly fine dining restaurant meals! I loved it! I let each restaurant know I was on a multi year restaurant tour and they treated me well. Thanks everyone!
600+ Meals In 20 States In 2019
My incredible 2018 was such a life changing and amazing experience that I did 600 restaurant meals in 2019. I traveled to 20 states and Washington, DC. My @HighSpeedDining Tiktok page is where I now showcase these restaurants! My videos have done well with over 61,000 followers as I am releasing videos almost daily. My second Tiktok account @Docueatery has over 31,000 followers. HighSpeedDining features full meals while Docueatery features individual courses in a more detailed and humorous manner. Thankfully my video editing skills have finally caught up to my creative vision.
What Did I Do Before High Speed Dining?
I’ve had an amazing career in the comedy world spanning over 28 years. I created the World’s first uncensored comedy channels for XM Satellite Radio before they merged with Sirius to create SiriusXM Satellite Radio. I also consulted Pandora as they created their comedy channels. I've recorded and produced hundreds of comedy albums and shows for many of today’s biggest comedians like Gabriel Iglesias, Louis CK, Kevin Nealon, Jim Gaffigan, Frank Caliendo, Mike Birbiglia and Joey Coco Diaz. I've also produced many successful comedy songs and ringtones with my comedy content company, Hahaas Comedy. As much fun as I’ve had, my life has been far from a laughing matter.
Making The Best With The Hand I've Been Dealt
I was born without fingers on my left hand. At age 3, I had surgery that gave me a claw (two fingers basically) and some pretty good mobility. It ain't perfect but I can slice a steak and handle my meals. There is little I can't do. I've made the best with the hand I've been dealt and I've held my own.
Two Hip For My Own Good
In 2011, I had a double hip replacement. Both at once! It was a life changing event. It ultimately gave me some pretty good mobility and reduced pain massively. My titanium hips aren't perfect but I've been able to walk mostly pain free and live my life to the fullest. They have allowed me to exercise, work out and walk upwards of 10 miles a day. Now I just can’t seem to slow down.
How Did High Speed Dining Come About
I wanted to enjoy my life while on top of my game and healthy. I've learned that I get the most enjoyment and have the least amount of worries when I'm eating the tastiest meals in the world. So over 4 years ago I set out on the greatest culinary journey ever attempted. It's been an incredible time, an amazing learning experience and simply invigorating.
I've enjoyed the greatest years of a pretty incredible life dining around America and I'm thrilled I can take you on the journey with me through my @HighSpeedDining and @Docueatery videos. I hope you'll follow my adventures on Tiktok.
